Adjustment Procedures

1

Circular Level Adjustment

1. Set up the instrument on a stable surface

2. Center the bubble using leveling screws

3. Rotate instrument 180°

4. If bubble moves off center, adjust halfway using adjustment screws

5. Repeat until bubble stays centered through full rotation

2

Line of Sight Adjustment

1. Set up two points exactly 60m apart

2. Place level exactly in middle (30m from each point)

3. Take readings on both points (A1, B1)

4. Move instrument to 2m behind point A

5. Take new readings (A2, B2)

6. Calculate adjustment value: (B2 - A2) - (B1 - A1)

3

Digital Calibration

1. Access calibration menu in instrument settings

2. Follow manufacturer's calibration sequence

3. Verify calibration with known reference points

4. Document calibration results and date
