Getting Started

1. Begin by selecting the appropriate monument tool (Pin, Stake, or Disk) from the sidebar
2. Click on the grid to place monuments according to the deed description
3. Use the measurement tool to verify distances between monuments

Basic Surveying Tasks

• Setting Monuments: Place markers at property corners and significant boundary points
• Measuring Distances: Use the measure tool to check distances between monuments
• Measuring Angles: Verify bearings and angles between boundary lines
• Area Calculation: Calculate lot area by selecting boundary corners in sequence

Advanced Features

• Elevation Measurements: Use the elevation tool to check height differences
• GPS Coordinates: Each monument automatically records simulated GPS coordinates
• Data Export: Save your survey data using the Export button
• Undo/Redo: Use Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y for mistake correction

• Always verify measurements multiple times
• Document all monument placements with detailed notes
• Cross-reference deed descriptions with actual measurements
