Reservations & Payment
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your preferred date, we recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance during peak season (December - April).
- No deposit required: We don't charge credit cards or require upfront payment for most bookings.
- Payment on arrival: Full payment is due at the dock before departure.
- Accepted methods: Cash (USD or Lempiras), Venmo, Zelle, or major credit cards (3% processing fee applies).
Peak Season Note: During holidays and cruise ship days, we may require a 50% deposit to hold your reservation. You'll be notified if this applies to your booking.
Cancellation Policy
We understand plans change. Here's our cancellation policy:
- 24+ hours notice: Full refund or reschedule at no charge.
- 12-24 hours notice: 50% charge or reschedule for a $50 fee.
- Less than 12 hours: Full charge applies.
- No-show: Full charge with no refund.
Weather Cancellations
Your safety is our priority. If we determine weather conditions are unsafe for your scheduled trip:
- We'll notify you at least 2 hours before departure.
- You'll receive a full refund or can reschedule for any available date.
- If weather deteriorates during your trip, we'll return to port. You'll receive a prorated refund or credit toward a future trip.
Captain's Discretion: The captain has final authority on all weather and safety decisions. This is for your protection.
Group Size & Pricing
- Minimum group: Most trips have a 4-person minimum (or equivalent price).
- Maximum capacity: 12 passengers per boat, as certified by the Bay Islands Maritime Authority.
- Private charter: All trips are private - no strangers on your boat.
- Pricing: Per-person pricing applies. Group discounts available for 8+ passengers.
What's Included
Unless otherwise specified, all trips include:
- Experienced captain and first mate
- All snorkeling equipment (masks, fins, life vests)
- Fishing tackle and bait (on fishing trips)
- Lunch and non-alcoholic beverages
- Fuel and docking fees
- Basic safety equipment (life jackets, first aid, radio)
What to Bring
- Sunscreen (reef-safe preferred)
- Towels
- Camera/phone (waterproof cases available on request)
- Additional alcoholic beverages if desired
- Seasickness medication if prone to motion sickness
Age & Health Requirements
Children of all ages are welcome with adult supervision. For your safety, please inform us of:
- Any mobility limitations
- Heart conditions or recent surgeries
- Pregnancy
- Severe allergies or dietary restrictions
Gratuity
Gratuity is not included but greatly appreciated. Industry standard is 15-20% for excellent service.
